Respite care in Perth
Respite care in Perth, built around one teenager at a time.
Vel Care Alliance runs one-to-one NDIS respite across Perth for teenagers with complex needs. Not a room and a roster. Real days out, weekends away, and the same support worker who already knows your teenager.
What our respite looks like
A day out, a weekend away, and something to show for it.
Our respite is active and one-to-one. It is not passive supervision in a group room. Your teenager gets a real day, with a worker who knows what settles them and what they enjoy.
The outdoors
Fishing off the jetty, a bush walk, sand boarding down the dunes. Time outside, at a pace that suits the day.
Weekends away
Two or three days away, once or twice a month. A proper change of scene for your teenager, and a proper break for you.
Everyday skills
Cooking a meal, doing the shop, ordering lunch in a cafe. The ordinary things that build real independence.
Out in the community
Go-karts, the cricket, a drive somewhere new. Whatever your teenager is actually reaching for, we build the day around it.

Why one to one
One teenager, one worker, no rotating strangers.
Some providers send whoever is free and ask for a three hour minimum. We send the same person each time, for as long or as short as the day needs. That consistency is where trust is built, and it is what lets a teenager relax enough to try something new.
Before anything is signed, we come and meet you. We start slow, learn your teenager, and build the respite around the person, not a fixed program.
Who it is for
Built for teenagers other providers have found hard.
We work with teenagers who are non-verbal, and with teenagers whose behaviours have seen other providers step back. If your teenager has been let down before, this is the respite we are built for. We work alongside your behaviour support practitioner and therapy team, and we keep everyone pointing the same way.
Respite and the NDIS
A registered NDIS provider, across the Perth metro area.
Vel Care Alliance is a registered NDIS provider. Respite can sit in your teenager’s plan in a few different ways, so the simplest first step is a conversation. Tell us how the plan is written and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
A conversation, not a commitment
See if our respite is the right fit.
Tell us a little about your teenager, or someone on your caseload, and we will come to you. No paperwork, no pressure.
